To use the Mozilla Firefox browser, after you have installed the WedgeARP™ security certificate provided by Wedge Networks and have configured VPN access on your device, you need to follow these additional steps to ensure that you can browse securely. Firefox uses its own certificate trust store, so you will need to install the Wedge Security certificate separately into the Firefox browser directly.
1. Open your Mozilla Firefox browser and navigate to the Wedge Networks WedgeARP™ Secure Home Office page.
2. Under Related Information, click on the hyperlink WedgeARP™ - Public Key (.cer) to download the certificate file directly into the Firefox browser.
3. In the Downloading Certificate dialog box, select both Trust to identify websites and Trust to identify email users, then tap OK.
4. You are now able to use the Firefox for Android web browser with WedgeARP™ Secure Home Office.
