Shellshock - Bashdoor Vulnerability

Wedge Networks' WedgeOS™ products and Cloud Network Defense™ platform protect users against the latest discovered vulnerability known as Shellshock or Bashdoor. This security bug, found in the widely used Unix Bash shell, may allow an attacker to cause vulnerable versions of Bash to execute arbitrary commands and could allow an attacker to gain unauthorized access to a user's computer system.

The WedgeOS™ Server Security module can both detect and block the Shellshock / Bashdoor exploit attempt against web servers for all HTTP-based attacks, whether CGI, PHP or other vectors that can invoke Bash.

If you are a Wedge Networks customer running WedgeOS™ version 4.0.4 or higher and subscribed to Wedge Server Protection, you are already protected as the code to remediate against this vulnerability has already been captured by WedgeIQ™ and has been uploaded as an automatic update to all WedgeOS™ instances in the field.
